How do I persuade my mum to let me have a Point Two Jacket. She loves the idea but thinks that I don't need one. Competing at BE80(T) level! How do I persuade her??

Good point, so OP you could just not to do 4 events, which will work out to be about £100 a time, with entry fees and associated costs plus fuel. That would save enough to buy one.

Save up, ask for money off people for Christmas and birthdays (including family). Your mum is possibly paying for loads already? But getting one is a great idea.
