Pointless afternoon :(

Argued with myself whether to take coloured to local show to do the jumping this afternnon as it had a rather good course builder this year and he hasn't jumped for a while.
Called my mate and she said yes, it was fab going.
Got there and I was jumping on the equivilent of a bog

Got him out and did a whole crosspole before I put him back in and decided my horse was worth more than a tendon injury as he almost wiped us both out at the practice fence.

Oshk is back out in the field now, he wasn't impressed with his wasted sunday afternoon.

Oh this blinking weather! I went to a local show today and it was also a bog, I was doing the in-hand class but I have to say I was glad I wasn’t jumping. There were horses slipping all over the place.
Think you were very wise!

Well my friends thought I was abit silly as I do hunt all winter in quagmires which is true, and no I don't wear studs there but I think showjumping is a whole different tempo, plus its just not fun hosing mud from girths in Aug, is it?

Think if he can manage to get round the badsworth TC in an actual bog injury free he'd of made it round a few SJ's at peni riding club show posiie!

Lol, its all this slowing him down, its winding him up now, I think he is itching to get to the hunting terrain, too long spent indoors popping the poles, actually sarah I havnt seen you in ages, we have to do something about this, and when does this season kick off?

Not for a while yet - they haven't started hound exercise yet!

I can't wait to get back hunting either!!

Badger is lame though.

We are hoping it is gravel and nothing more serious.

He went lame on Friday, got worse then seems a lot better, so hopefully he'll be ok.

Took Tully XC schooling over baby jumps, think he got a bit confused and decided he'd jump this massive P&R fence with electric wire above!!

Crazy boy!! He didn't make a very good job of it but managed to stand up, but I didn't!! Feeling sore today!

Home alone!?? Is your mum MAD!!
