Just looked at the dates and I have had Holly exactly a year and a day!! this also makes it her birthday so she goes from being 4ish to 5ish!!
i've been so lucky as she is such as a fantastic dog and we've come so far! when i think back to when I got her and her fear aggression with other dogs etc. the other day we met a gobby collie off lead and she just completely ignored it! as long as she has an escape route she is absolutely fine
also the little things you often take for granted with other dogs like rolling on their back etc, even though she was attached and friendly from day one it took her several months to show her belly at all on her side to now she'll almost lie completely on her back and how she'll give me a little lick when i'm stroking her but this wasn't until 6 months after i got her. still have a few things to work on sa being the main one but this will have to wait until the summer when i'm not living with an awkward room mate.... oh and went home at christmas and no cat or chicken hunting!! anyway a long pointless post but i love my girl!!
