Am so proud of my boy, went round craven country ride yesterday and he flew over the jumps. Only refused one massive one and that was partly me chickening out coming up to it.
He is 15.2 and 17yr old and hasn't done a huge amount in last few years with previous owner. I have owned him for 18 months but have known him 3 and half years as used to hack him out for previous owner.
He has come on leaps and bounds over last year and our confidence has grown so much together. Knew that he was capable of all the big jumps on the course but wasn't sure i was so we stuck to the ones in our comfort zone lol.
Am hoping to go again but this time for training with my instructoe so hopefully we can be a bit braver.
