Hi all. Not much point to this post realy except to say Herbie had his teeth done today.
Both the dentist and I were a little nervous as last time she tried to have a look at his teeth she couldn't get anywhere near him. :( It wasn't all horrids fault as there were other horses being moved around in the yard, loads of people around and also there was a man with a drill doing some work at one end of the stables.
Today all the horses where out and it was just Herbs, the dentist and I. She spent a few minuets just talking to him to reassure him it was all ok. :) Then he was an absulute star :D :D He just stood there while she did his teeth. :D:D
He's such a good boy. Even just 6 months ago I wouldn't have even dreamed about doing his teeth. The dentist now realy likes him and thinks he's so cute.
Anyway thats it I just wanted to say how proud I am of the horrid one and
:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p to all those who have ever told me to give up on him. ;) :D :D :D

That's good progress then.

Did he need much work doing, do you think perhaps something in his mouth may of been niggling him on that rein that he was acting up on, did the dentist say this could of been a reason (re your other post last week).

His teeth were sharp and he had some hooks. She said they weren't so bad to make him play up like he was but you never know. So I'll lunge him tom and for a few days and see if he's any better. Hopefuly it was just his teeth otherwise I think he was just being a sod and I've been making excuses for him (although i'm glad I got his teeth done :) ) But I'm not dwelling on that right now as i'm just so pleased he didn't try to kill us :D

*round of applause for Herbie* for being v v brave. Having clicked on your link I have to say he is very very handsome, as well as brave.
