Well everyone re stolen horses in Lambley Nottingham

I have just spoken to the Nottingham Horse Watch contact from the mounted police at sherwood Lodge Nottingham.

He has had no email or phone calls from other Police offices re the Lamley scare and Silver van. He is going to check his contacts just to check but he says they have no record of it but he will ring me back if he finds anything. But he also thinks its a hoax as most calls have a record or all calls and he's checked these and nothing.

So I suppose now we can take it that some sad sod with nothing better to do.

We are South Notts, OH of the owner of a horse I ride is police force. Will ask if he has heard of any of it.

YO has the numberplates on our blackboard and extra precautions including a 18 tonne digger parked in the gateways.

Spoken with my friend who works for the police and keeps her horse in Lambley - she has heard nothing! - think that is enough for me!

He just text me back. Heard nothing at all. And told me he retired from the force today!!!

I think there is alot of hype BUT if it has made everyone rethink their security it can't be a bad thing.

My friend rang Derbyshire Police today and they confirmed that there has been horses stolen in the area but wouldn't say the exact place as it was still being investigated all they would say was that a tranist van was involved that had false number plates on. He said to make sure horses are as secure as can be in the fields and also any trailers and tack.
