Polite Hi-vis jackets

I encountered one of these jackets while in the car today. I have to say it irritated me! Maybe because between two riders this was the only hi viz item they had, or maybe because they failed to acknowledge that they had seen us behind, or that we had slowed to a crawl on a 60mph busy toad, or that they failed to go single file to assist us to pass safely, or that they failed to thank us.

Dh and I both ride on the roads wearing a plain yellow hi-viz tabbard. All the drivers round our yard are VERY considerate and I feel no need to do any more than ensure I am visible. I have a hat band too as that can be seen over the walls/hedges.
 
Some riders are just so damned rude aren't they !!! It's simply because they are thick. :mad:

Mind you, I was driving back from RDA today, and the racehorses were out on the main road, not a stitch of hi-vis in sight, which in my book is rude to motorists too. Again, they are thick.

All we can do is protect our horses and ourselves. And thank every driver that drops speed by even 1mph :)
