Anyone got the winter version?
Mines been delivered today and Im a bit disappointed :( I noticed they did a winter version, so presumed it would have a bit thicker lining, even just a fleecy one. Its just a cotton lining and really thin. Theres nothing on the packaging to say this is the winter version, so Im wondering, if I have been sent the summer one???
Thanks for reading :)

Phone the place you ordered it from. What does your I voice sheet say?? If it is the winter one it should have a thicker lining.

No, I got it from Discount Equestrian. Ive had another look at the descriptions and Im presuming the Summer one isnt a waterproof material and the Winter one is. Its going to have to go back, I need a bit of warmth in it. The Mark Todd and Shires ones look nice :)

i'd recommend the equifleece ones - waterrpoof - dont flap and breathable - and good highviz/tailer flap with reflective etc - really rate mine

If you're after a nice warm fleecy hi-viz one: then try here - www.equafleece.co.uk - I got one for my boy and its fab! They do saddle pads and quarter sheets.

The only disadvantage with them though, if you could call it that, is that if you're putting them on a horse which has been clipped they'll rub up against the "nap" of the coat and end up "sticking", if you see what I mean. I wish they'd do them with a lining!! BUT apparently they will do a lining for you if you like. I'm sending mine back to them to have the lining put in it.

I hate the wrap around sheets - I wish they did an under saddle version. Every time I've used a wrap around one here its been flapping about like a parachute behind me! Perhaps good in built up areas, but hopeless on the hills around here!

I bought one of the EquiSafety winter wrap around exercise sheets and agree I thought the lining was very thin for a winter weight one. Mind you, I haven't seen the summer weight version so don't know how they compare - how thin is that one I'm left wondering?! I actually tested the shell of mine by holding it under the water tap just to double check it was waterproof. It was, so I'm guessing I do have the winter version and, yes, the lining is very thin.

Also agree they tend to move about behind as they are fairly deep and the front section that goes around the chest is enormous. I've had to alter mine to shorten it. I put mine on under the saddle flaps. I haven't tried it over the flaps. Not sure I'd like to as it looks like it really wound flap in the wind :o

I have the summer one and its a mesh like material like you would get on a fly rug, the main reason I got it was to keep the flies off really! So if its waterproof I would imagine it prob is the winter version
