Get him to raise his head as high as he can then bring it down so he is overbent - he follows a carrot really well. We do this one a few times.
Then carrot stretches round to his flanks, then down to his front fetlocks on each side, then between his front legs to stretch his back.
Then get him to turn his head to the side like he is flexing to the left and right but without him tipping his nose.
He is so good at these now he can almost do them on his own!
crest sliding at halt and walk, when ridden.
carrot stretches, over the stable door as far as possible upwards/straight out, and then down to knee and hoof.
