Evening everyone - exciting day for us as new horsebox has arrived! Popped the horses in tonight just so that they could stand in it / have a bit of dinner inside it and all went well.
...Until the mare who is the only one I expected to not have any problems with!

She's always been great to load in a 7.5t (canters up & jumps on) and I thought some work would perhaps be required to get her comfortable in a 3.5t as the horse area is obviously smaller, however she was very much a drama queen and we barely got her onto the ramp. It could be something as simple as the "new rubber" smell as there was lots of deep inhaling and she was funny about the rubber in her stable when it was first put in (:rolleyes3:), but it's definitely going to be a bit of a project to get her standing on it (let alone going anywhere) and I'd like to invest in a good poll guard just to protect her head as she fools about.

I have one at the moment which I use to travel her just in case (she leaps up and down when excited), but it's quite flimsy so I'd like to get one that's more effective - has anyone seen/used the Woof wear one? Is it any good? x
