Mine is shod, but he has been unshod, as was my cob at points. I think the point moreover is doing the right thing by the horse- they aren't clones of each other and shouldnt be treated as such. If it needs shoeing, shoe it. If it copes without great- if shoes dont work try something else, or get a better farrier.

Mines shod and happy, but needs to be shod because of twisted unright conformation in hinds so needs more support.

Other - 1 BF and happily working, 1 shod all round and happily working.

As of next Tuesday this will be 1 BF and happily working, 1 BF (for winter only) and working in boots.

both my PRE and ISH are unshod and the only problem i have with my ISH is that he doesnt grow much horn at all and his feet wear down quickly my PRE however is getting on with it very well

Sometimes shod, sometimes unshod, sometimes booted, working happily but dealing with white line disease in a post keratoma weakened foot.

If any needed shoes they'd have them. It would be what the horse needed, not what I wanted.

Well I hit the wrong button. I have unshod and shod depending on their need. I read quickly and thought it said barefoot/shod and not barefoot/unshod

3 unshod, 2 always have been, the other is a work in progress as he has EMS so has been shod/unshod/booted, currently booted.
