Hello,
1st post from a lurker!

I’ve been bought my first ever polo lesson for Christmas. Really excited but would love to do some reading up/ watching anything instructional to get the most out of the day.

Any polo peeps hiding on the forum? And if so any recommendations??

Yes, it's very addictive :D I play for my uni team.

Erm, tips. Start practising your half seat at home, your thighs will thank you for it! And you'll find turning and swinging easier if you're already familiar with being in that position.

Your wrist might hurt the first few weeks/months depending on how often you play but it will get much easier, some lessons when I started I could barely use the mallet properly it ached so much but it's fine now.

Have fun! It is SO addictive and so much fun. Let us know how it goes :)

Thanks Dobby :). Will dig out my thigh master!! Although so excited about it I think adrenaline will see me through. Muscles will pay for it next day no doubt ;).
