Hello

I treid polo at the weekend thanks to Groupon and, although I was rubbish, I really enjoyed and would love to do something like it a bit more regularly.

Can you lovely lot tell me a bit more about the three disciplines listed above and advise me:

a) if there is anywhere near MK to do it
b) if you need your own horse to take part
c) costs

And, if you take part, please tell me what you do!

Thanks

Horseball-
We run have a go sessions, we can come to the yard and give a sesion, we do ask that you have a group of you to make this viable.
Alternatively if you can travel the nearest centre is probably twin trees in Bedfordshire, who have a session once a month. www.twintrees.net

If you do not have your own horse you can get in contact with BHA www.horseballuk.co.uk

Who should be able to advise on centres offering lessons on horseball horses.

Good luck! Ive been playing horseball for two years now and love it!

How much was the groupon offer for? That sounds good! We have loads of polo yards in Cambridge, very posh :-) its quite expensive to do it regularly by the looks of it... I think horseball is a bit more accessible.

Aww I learnt to ride at twin trees! That was just before their horseball days though. Would love to return one day!

Thanks guys. Really helpful.

Mandwhy - it was £14 for a group lesson at Hampshire Polo school. I believe it is usually £35. That's for an hour.
