HiI usually ride with a polypad but I want todo some showing so will need a numnah instead of a sadde cloth. I think that the polypad numnah looks very big, can anyone reccomend a well padded numnah which is not cut to big. Also for dressage poly pad dont do white trim can anyone reccomend a sadle cloth in white which offers similar protections?

Thanks

I think Rambo does a similar type of thing. Am pretty sure I've got a white padded saddlecloth type one for dressage which is black on the other side.

Or how about Nuumed with the fleece as a numnah. Expensive though.

You can get brown fleece numnahs from companies such as NuuMed or Stephens, which are not too intrusive looking. The bay mare in my sig photos is wearinga NuuMed brown numnah. What sort of level are you showing at?

At local shows something like the NuuMed would be fine - they do different styles to suit different saddles. Some people prefer the Stephens ones which are similar but I haven't tried them personally. A lot of traditional showing people don't like numnahs at all, but some go for sheepskin ones which are individual made to the saddle - however they are not cheap and probably OTT for local level!

FMM is our resident showing expert though - she will probably post on here and tell you I've got it all wrong

The sheepskin doesnt stick out on the nuumed numnah. Its just underneath.

They also do one where the fleece shows all the way round http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/ProductDetai...=numnahsPadsand at local showing as long as it is the same colour as you horse or tack and is discreet im sure it wouldnt be a problem. They are really worth the money IMO!

You could ty something like this for showing http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/ProductDetai...yID=numnahsPads

I think the Rambos are the same cut as the poly pads?! and therefore not ideal for showing.

Polypad do a dressage numnah its http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/ProductDetai...yID=numnahsPads

Hope that helps (Is it obvious I have a numnah/ saddlecloth obsession!!!)
