Okay, I've been wondering this for ages!!! Which way do you jump the polyjump multijumps? Here is a piccie: http://www.polyjumps.com/acatalog/blocks.jpg

Do you put the poles on the side you are jumping them or the other side furthest from where you are jumping them (hope I'm not confusing you!)

Or can you jump them either way? AHhhhhhhhhhhh please help!!!

I think you're meant to have it so the poles can fall down (so have the poles on the side furthest away from you) however if you have one jump facing one way and one pointing the other (ie so the left hand wing has the sloped side towards you and the right wing has the sloped side away from you) you can have poles on the straight side that can fall down if you jump them in either direction.

They do only get up to about 3' (3'3" with a fat pole!) anyway though so I do tend to jump them either direction, I just try and make sure there isn't a false groundline if I'm using the sloped side

I jump them either way personally, a horse can knock them off either way and the cups arent deep enough to cause a problem. Besides which, the wings themselves dont weigh too much and for some reason if the pole werent to fall then the wings would fall anyway.

To prevent having to put the whole jump up if your horse/pony has the pole I would only jump the way that the horse/pony would knock the pole out of the cup.

I'm not a lover of plastic poles, they are too light & the horse/pony has little or no rspect for them. A wooden pole has some substance & the horse/pony feels when he hits it so I invariably have a wooden pole as the top rail.
