They are supposed to be fab jumps, very safe. Only downside is that they are light to carry, which is great, but in high wind not so great and also they can be very easily stolen because of this.
i've got them, had them for years, and they're very good. stable in high winds (all the weight's in the feet of the uprights), fillers are good, zero maintenance. the poles are expensive though... i only have a few of their poles, and make do with wooden ones for the rest. i'd buy a whole course of their stuff if i could... they're so bright, they really get the horses up in the air. whenever they use them at a BE event, there are moans from some riders that their horses were spooked by the bright colours, but i've never had a problem even when the jumps were new to my lot. PM me if you want to know more.
oh, don't get the ones with integral (un-moveable) cups though... i've found these rubbish, the cups break off, they blow over in high winds, the plastic isn't stable and gets very brittle in winter. a waste of money. most of mine ended up in a skip... very disappointing, very expensive mistake.
eek, i'm an idiot, mine are jump4joy, not polyjumps. the polyjump multi-cup stands i had were rubbish... see my other post.
the jump4joy ones are great, very highly recommended.
I have some of the polyjumps Uni Stands and they are fine even in high winds due to the fact that all the weight is in the base. Mine are 4 years old and have faded, the original cups are all knackered, they became very brittle and cracked. The new cups they supply now are different, the ones that Safety Systems do and seem much more robust.
I dont bother with plastic poles as find traditional wooden ones just as good, if not better, and they are cheaper. All in all quite happy with my polyjumps.
i have used polyjumps lots and think they're great. only had one problem, when teaching our cob to jump she would crash right through them because she knew they were so light that it didn't hurt!! so we had to go back to wood to train her that she should pick up her feet!!!! now she jumps great.
would reccomend them for lightmess and durability though.
