Ponies and Donkeys

A long time ago I was told that if you are keeping a pony with a donkey it needs to be wormed with an extra wormer.
I can't remember what it was though

I know I sound like a complete biff, but could someone let me know if this is actually the case and if so, what are the worms called that I need to protect the little ginger one against?

You have to worm the donkey for lungworm.

No, you don't. The exception is with a new donkey.

Ivermectin and moxydectin both nobble lungworm so there is no excuse for any donkey horse or pony to have them.
