Rode Sen home this morning after doing the yard and now she's chomping away at our overgrown grass. She's going to stay overnight and then I'll ride her back to the yard tomorrow morning. even bought a new rug in hononr of the occasion as it's going to rain tonight (yeah, like I need a reason to buy more tack!!).

My OH hasn't mown the grass since last September so Sen is going to do all the work. She doesn't keep weight on too well so the grass will do her good!

My confused dog eating grass that thinks she's a horse (she eats grass, hay, horse feed, sugar beet!)

View from my kitchen window! Ignore the fence panels- we need to paint them again this year.

I'm sorry but i'm going to have to ask - how the hell did you get her in there? From the photo's you can't see a garden gate - she didn't come through the dining room?

did you walk her through the house??? i have brought my old 16.2 tb into the living room through the french windows before.......i needed a drink! no one knows until now.

Arr that must be so nice to have ur horse in ur back yard - my girls would love it - but mother wouldn't! I bet it wont be a pleasant sight in the morning!!!!!!!!!!! Nice pics

LOL, we have a side entry way and gate between my house and next doors (a bit wider than the width of a standing stall). The gate is on the same side of the house as my kitchen window.
I may bring her in the kitchen tonight when my OH gets home just to freak him out a little!

Thats so cute!! What a sweetie to be so calm about it all! Mine would be out of there in seconds!

Whe I first looked at the second pic I thought it looked as though the horse had the dogs head in her mouth lol

Did debate the wisdom of bringing Ellie here to chomp on my lawn but decided it was safer to use the mower as she's kept half an hour away from me up the a45

I can't think of a better way to mow the lawn!

......and, no worries about her escaping from there either.

Hubby won't let me fence our back yard so I strip graze it, anything to get out of mowing it!

I told my neighbours the other day that Sen was coming home with me- the old lady next door has a cattery so she doesn't care and my other neighbour leads an "alternative" lifestyle so he's live and let live. LOL, I'm pretty lucky then!

I had to tie her up outside when I got home as I had to go inside to unlock the back gate, an Arriva bus passed by and you should have seen everyone's head turn!

She's dozing in the sun at the moment but when I got home from picking my son up from school she has waiting for me by the kitchen door. She keeps trying to get in the house!! The bizarre thing is that she just stands there for ages looking into the kitchen...

Anyways, got fed up of her standing there giving me the eye so I led her in. Here she is raiding the feed bags I keep by the back door!

After the rain stopped trying to get some Spiller's mints..
