I'm interested in the answers to those questions.
I am only 1/2 an hour from Pontispool and quite fancy attending some XC camps next year.

ive had some ansers in soap box, it seems stockland lovell is more recommended so far (also in somerset!)

I have some friends who seem to favour Stockland Lovell. I am about 1/2 an hour from there too as it's on the outskirts of Bridgwater, on the Minehead road.
I have not been there yet, but I went to Pontispool early this year to photograph an HT event, and it looked like an interesting place to ride.

Opinions are like bum holes, everyone has one.
I have been to both on camps not much in it. Prefer the stables at Pontispool but human accommodation is not very good. At SLM the human accommodation is very good. I also think the instructors can sometimes be better at Pontispool. Food is very good at both!!
There is not much in the XC either I guess SLM has more variety but last time I went they had put away all the big stuff and more challenging fences and was more set up for PC.

Love the Stockland Lovell cross country schooling field, we used to go there in the summer and it was the best by far in the area.
