well we started off with dressage-i got into the warm up area and he was jumping about..so excited. Test was going ok but he was so jumpy and fidgety, and kept insisting on wanting to jog!I got worked up and forgot to halt at C!!grrr...anyway after that it didnt go well...so we had an awful score.....i cant believe im telling you...(whispers) 55....but hey!better than 64 we got the other week!He really isnt a dressage horse so ill just have to put some major practice into that..
Anyway we had to wait 3 hours till the SJ, he was going really well in the warm up-the jumps were the biggest we have ever done so i was really pleased as although we had 2 down it was more my fault. It was the 2nd in the double and then the last spread where i got striding wrong and he just clipped it. Then xc...well the jumps were huge and i was worried about the narrow box hedge thing-but no need as he stormed around clear, only problem was i had difficulty holding him he was literally pulling like a steam train, and because i kept have to pull him back we were actually slow-which is a first!I dont think we came anywhere but i really enjoyed the day and he was a relatively good boy
