I'll be staying on Park Campus, does anyone know of any good livery yards (for DIY) near the uni (or any we should avoid)?

Thanks in advance guys

ooh Im at northampton and looked before I went as I thought I would have to take one horse with me and swap them round every few weeks or so. It turned out with my timetable it was easier to live at home which enabled me to keep riding all of them all the time, and commute. I looked round several yards and found one I was very happy with it was between church brampton and chapel brampton I shall try and find the name for you :). Will you have your own transport?

Look in Tower Farm Saddlers for livery, Marrowell Farm Services also have liveries on their board. Welland Valley feeds have a section on their website but they are Market Harborough way but sometimes Northampton ones do pop up. There are 3 yards down towards Chapel/Church Brampton and also Moulton College have liveries too. And many more it just depends what you are looking for x

I was at glebe farm equestrian centre in bozeat. Lovely yard with 2 outdoor and a new indoor school. Lots of facilities. They have a website if you google them.x

I'm in that area and recently moved yards so done a lot of research into what's around. What are you looking for - facilities, price, t/o ect
PM if you like :)

I live in Northampton...I think the livery yard in Chapel Brampton a couple of people have mentioned is called Grange Livery (or something very similar), I've never been in there but it looks very nice and heard lots of positive comments about it.
The hacking in Chapel Brampton is also really good varying from farm land, to woods and the golf course and there are quite a few other stabes nearby so plenty of things on.
I hope you find somewhere, I start university in October but I'm off up to Durham :)
