Pony Club Champs Int SJ and Dressage

OMG what a day

it all start with me seeing 5.15am ( is there really two 5's I never new that

)

Got there at 7.30am to do SJ tack and turn out for 8.30am and walk the course it was nice course but bigger than Beatle had done before.

We did T n T out and then put horse away cus we had to do Int Dressage cus all the times clashed so missed jumping with the team

Pip rode in well for Beatle and it started to rain just as she went in.... she was in the far arena so I really could not see how they went but looked ok if a little flat but Beatle was happy with it........ then off to the SJ with Leo and she had one down but jumped great and after first round the team was in =3rd

.....then score came up for the dressage and she had 71% and was leading at half way point it took ages for rest to come up...... we had to wait and wait and as score came up slowly we were still winning

we won our section and had to go forward to the 12 people ride off

......... quick dash to SJ as it was yet again clashing

had to jump out of order and in a bit of a rush started by having the first fence down but we were not the only one and took out one part of the double but it was much the biggest she had ever done

so really pleased...... then rushed off to do the ride off which he went lovely in she got 68.17% and came 5th and the winner was on 69% so over the moon... to top it all the Int Dressage team came 9th and the Int SJ team came 5th.

So an amazing day where we did in fact win at the Pony Club champs

Got the Eventing to go now on weds and thursday

Well done Beatle, did you see how PWPC did in the SJ?

It was just an indiv but the link on the site doesn't work.

Look out for the grey/white pony in our Int event team, she is a bit special - don't steal her!

Well done Beatle - my daughter was in the same section, they were the only 2 11 year old in the Int. dressage! And they were both on in the first lot weren't they? Tilly was on the little strawberry roan - we didn't see you I think because you were rushing about so much

Tilly finished 10th on 68% having gone wrong once and failed to give and retake the reins twice - she thinks she's doing it and nobody else can see any change at all

video needed methinks! Great day though and fantastic experience for the future. Been there got the sweatshirt

Best of luck for the ODE - we are off to Cheshire at the weekend for the Novice one.

She rode Leo in the SJ and he is doing the Eventing too and Pip (VIP) did the dressage.....

Walked the XC today for the eventing

not quite sure how she is going to get a 16hh half breed round it but hey it looks an amazing course and has a real champs feel to it.

Hope Claire is ok???? it was great working with her last week

thats was great... this is Beatle 5th year at the Champs.
