CAn anyone help me with some information on the history of the Pony club, beyond what is on the Pony Club site. In particular Harry Faudel-Phillips. He appears to have been the instigator of the Pony club yet COL V.D.S WIlliams is often cited as the Founder. in addition a General TomMarchant is listed too.
If anyone can tell me a little bit more about these three men and why they were so committed to young people riding and the idea of Pony club I'd be very grateful.
Looking for a bit of colour for a commentary on the Pony Club,
and accuracy .
Also the origins of Polo cross
Thank you

I don't know about the pc stuff, but I think Polocrosse started in Australia? Google it

Contact UKPA- there was an article in Riding Magazine some time ago where they covered the history of polocrosse also a lady sent a photo to horse and Hound of her playing in England where it was devised as a training exercide for horse and rider. The game as we know it today evolved in Australia. Speak to the PR officer at UKPA or if you want to PM me I may have more info packed away from when I was PR officer for a uk club. Alison
