I've been lurking on here for too longer time and now I'm in a bit of a dilema and need some sensible advice.

I have owned my pony for just over 6 years, I vowed never to sell her as I always knew she could end up in the wrong hands and now I fear I may have to do just this.

I am starting university this september (luckily before the fees go up!) and I want to get her sorted before I leave as although I'm staying at home I'm not going to have the time or the funds available to take good care of her. I sensibly decided to put her on full loan in January so she would have plenty of time to settle in and I could check she was ok before this sept. Sadly it has not worked out. Now I have no idea what to do, I have less than 3 months to sort her out and time is ticking.

She is a 14.2, 15 year old, liver chestnut, welsh D mare, she is good as gold in many respects but does have her quirks, she doesn't like to be in the field alone, does not hack alone and needs sedation for her teeth....that really is all; fab at comps, sound and barefoot, jumps 1m courses, could do novice dressage, never refused a jump and easy as anything on the ground, very affectionate...like a big dog!
I need to get this sorted, I really want to concentrate on my education for a while. I am so scared to sell her though because I know although she'll always be good on the ground that if allowed to get away things she would take advantage.

Any suggestions welcome

sounds like she may make a nice pony club pony, why not contact the local pony club, they may be able to help. good luck.

Yes she's a very good PCP, she did pony club with me for 2 years when I was younger and went to camp for a week last year with my sister.
