Well, duckling, another forum member who has been riding Alice jumped the pony today for me. We started off with some gridwork to try and get her to slow down into fences (which didn't really work, she gets way too excited) and then did a little course. Then at the end we popped up the fence to see what she could do....I have to say, I was fairly impressed with my little jumping pony!

I would like to thank Duckling for having the balls to jump today - the pony likes to charge into things and it takes guts to charge into 1.20 fences...but she did it and they are both alive.

Anyway, a few photos of the ponio in action:

The biggest jump of the day - how big do we reckon?

A pony looking very proud of herself!

Sorry that they are so big, OH's camera does weird things....

Enjoy....

Not bad for a 14.2hh Irish 'cob'! Well, we used to go to shows, but I have lost my nerve. Saying that we are doing a little show tomorrow, I will do a clear round and duckling is going to do a 2'9 I think!

Please ignore my hidious face-pulling, and my leg in the 4th photo..!!

If anyone has any CC on me (please be friendly) I'd like to hear it although I understand the photos are hard angles to look at me on... (if that made any sense!!)

I reckon that last fence was 1m20 maybe 1m25?? Good pony

Its good that the angles are funny - makes the jumps look bigger and hides you! (not that there was anything wrong with your position!!). I am actually going to be seriously sad and measure those wings tomorrow....oh, the life of someone who doesn't jump!! Hehe.

Anyone want a pony on loan!
