Pony dust cough

I recently discovered my pony has a cough, I beleive its from a batch of very dusty hay she has, although i soak it every day she still coughs, she coughed once in her stable and the rest she coughed out light hacking today I know when you exercise the horse they'll cough since its putting more strain on the respiratory system but I was wondering are there any medicines i coukd give her to keep her cough down , when she coughs she gets a whitey creamy coloured snot...


Any ideas for medicines I could give her until the dusty hay goes? ( I'm hopefully gettting some hay tomorrow or tuesday)
 
Are you sure it is down to the hay? Our pony has started coughing and sneezing suddenly and I'm fairly sure it is a pollen allergy! I am getting vet out to confirm!
 
pretty sure it is only started when started feeding her some old dusty hay ... will check her tempature and should get vet out to confirm if it doesn't clear up..
