Pony European Championships

Today is team day for the SJ team and it's Pippa Allen who is the one left out to compete as an individual.

Am I reading this site incorrectly or just being plain stupid. OR has the bubble finally burst with the pony team ?

I wasn't entirely sure either which is why I didn't post that for once the pony team finished out of the medals. On the one hand they seem to be saying that the 2nd round was cancelled, but on the other they give scores for the 2nd round!
Presumably like us they've had awful weather as the Individual Champs have been postponed till Monday.

Have just spoken to one of the trainers who said "hopefully we have more luck in the Individuals than we did in the teams". I didn't ask, but I'm assuming that means the bubble has sadly burst.

OMG That will hurt a few people including myself. It is almost unthinkable.

The weather was fine over the weekend, I think Monday is being used as the eventers could only do cross-country (at a separate venue) Sunday, so they have to show-jump on Monday, and it would be a bit sad if they were the only ones left. On a cheerier note the eventers were in 3rd after the xc and breathing down the necks of the Belgians (1st) and Germans (2nd).

Thanks. Chad and Snatch salvaged some honour for the SJers taking Bronze Individual and the Eventers took Team Silver.

Yay thank you Snatch. (have a little dog by the same name) we had him as a 5 yr old. I always though he was good enough to make a european pony. Well done Chad & thank you Amanda Hilliard (owner) for believing in him.
