After a long search i thought I'd found my new best friend and he's just failed the vet... ho hum... back to looking -- it's amazing how much your mood can change within an hour....

What did he fail on? A failed vetting isn't the end of the world, can just just give you guiders for anything to possibly keep an eye on over time and give you pointers on how to keep them sounder and working better if it's only small things :)

What are you looking for?

What are you looking for?

He failed on a flexion test and was lame on a circle at the trot (I could feel it... and the vet stopped me right away)... He wasn't cheap so there is no way I'm buying an expensive lame horse...

I'm looking for a big traditional cob (Must be 15 to 16 hands), gelding (I can't get on with mares) must be safe to hack (as my mum takes my horses out occasionally) and be utterly gorgeous. Preferably coloured as I want to show with tonnes of feather and lots of mane.... and pop a SMALL fence (I think 2 ft 6 is very very high)... at one point would have settled for a show cob but having seen 2 trad cobs (one withdrawn from sale, the other was this chap) now it has to be the full hairy variety... If you can find me one not a million miles from Cheshire I'll be amazed but greatful -- choccy biccies all round.

Good choice!!! :p

I'll keep an eye out....I can forward on a few very reputable breeders who always have ones for sale if that's of interest.

Solids can show now as full traditionals too though ;) So if you were worried from a showing point of view, colour doesn't have to be limited. :)

Could be but I haven't got time to do a full breaking in job - don't mind schooling horsey on but don't want to do the full lunge/long rein/ being dumped thing...
