I dont know what has happened, but I am sure a few years back you could buy a not partucularly talented, but safe childs pony for around £600.

Now I think you need to add another '0' before you find anything?

Am I being unrealistic.

CRITERIA

Does not matter how old
Does not matter what colour
Preferably under 13.3
Must walk trot canter but dont mind if it takes a while to get there (ie you have to kcik a bit) - not worried about jumping, not worried about much really, so long as it is safe...
Can be cheeky!!!

Am I asking for the unobtainable?

they tend to go by word of mouth if they do sell. ive got one that sounds exactly what you want but im not selling him and very few people who get superstars like this actualy sell them on.

You might have trouble finding something that cheap in the South East, unless it is really, really ancient. To give you an idea, you are looking for something similar to daughter's old pony and we paid £1000 (inc tack and rugs) for her when she was 14.

Not sure whereabouts you're located but just gone on adtrader "Grey 18yr Old Mare 12.2hh, excellent first pony, good on lead rein, comes with all tack and rugs, £550.."

Not my pony!

yes, that's how I'd read it.

Genuine plods are hard to come by.

The trouble is people aren't very good at wording ads! I still have giggling fits at "very small pony for sale, has been sat on".
