It is ment to help with flies, I spread one slice of brown bread with a thin layer but I guess that is not enough, at least he did not think so

Mine loves his marmite sarnies! Marmite contains the same ingredient as Brewers Yeast, which is good for horses with sweet itch. Marmite is just another way of feeding it!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feeds marmite.. Everyone round here thinks i'm mad.

Tiger has his sarnie every other day with his bute in cos lil bugger won't eat it in his feed, but in his sandwich he cant get enough. Other two love it as well, they just get a bit in their feed though.

We put about a big teaspoon mixed in with hot water, and then mixed into the feed. Makes the shiny and keeps away flies. However, a local tack shop sells brewers yeast really cheaply so we now use that instead- our horse isn't that fussy! Still gets marmite as a treat
