It is such a lovely day, and he got very sweaty at pony club so we washed him when we got back.

And of course he showed his thanks by finding a dusty patch and rolling in it :D

Pulled, trimmed & bathed both yesterday. I was filled with joy to watch them both immediately find what must be the only muddy puddle to roll in! Your pony is v cute op.

Yep, took Meg out round the XC fields then seeing as she was sweaty, took the hose to her!
Am dreading arriving tomorrow and finding stable stains everywhere!

Not a full bath, but legs and tail. I trimmed up her legs and mane too. I wouldv'e done the whole body, but I went out last night and lets just say I was feeling a little fragile so left it at that!

Did the tail on Friday! He's been sponged quite a bit due to sweatiness, but is due a full bath later in the week. I don't want to do that too early, because I want him clean on the weekend!

Washed the grey horses tail yesterday (it was yellow after a winter of not touching it!) and had a bit of fun with the clippers on my veteran retired chap who has cushings so was panting yesterday - so glad I clipped him coz its a lot warmer today and he would have been dripping in sweat! Plan to clip the shetland (who also still looks like a wooly sheep) next weekend, she adores being clipped and gallops about afterwards!

Cant give mine body washes (well I can the clipped one now) coz they're maulting and its hell to wash them like this!

Snopuma - Lol dosnt he just :) what he does not know is not worth knowing.

I am wishing I had clipped him now, I could have made another pony with the amount if hair and trimmings that came off :D

Mulledwine- mine had a full clip, its now beyond me why I only chaser clipped daughters. He really is cute by the way, any chance he could be posted lol?

yes i did. i went out for a lovely hack but because i have just got her and she is quite unfit she was really sweating, so i gave her a nice cool bath and she loved it. i used special shamoo for dark horses too so she looks lovely

Bathed mine this afternoon. Solved the problem of the yellow tail by chopping 8" off it. We won't be showing this year so by the time we are next in the show ring, it will have grown down again - but be nice and gleamy white because it now lives in a bag - away form all that nasty stuff :D

Yes, and he remained clean for all of 3 minutes.. infact legs were attempting to buckle for a roll as I led him through the field gate..

No point with mine.....
You can scrub him until until he gleams like a conker but the second you turn him out, he finds a nice spot of clay and turns all his white bits a dirty murky brown.
So I saved myself the bother:D
