It has had to be done, pony is on a diet, and just to let me know how disgusted he is with the new regime, he has done nothing but shout at me all morning.

His paddock is next to the house, and I am getting quite fed up with hearing his moaning LOL
 
I am sure he will adjust...I assume that he has something to nibble on or soaked hay or something to keep him quiet?
I have had to reduce my lads food over time to keep him slim throughout the summer, but I have done it gradually and he has adjusted well without fuss because he still has bits to nibble on.
 
I have 2 little 'hanibals' on diets and I swear they are planning some sort of mutiny. They go out in the evening and spend a good 10-15 mins huddled together muzzle to muzzle grumbling, then they spot me watching and toddle off innocently.

Am convinced they are trying to work out how to get each other muzzles off :D little monsters.

The look of disgust when they get their measly portions of hay handed out is priceless too, am home all day so spread it out through the day so aren't stood for hours being hungry, but the little monsters don't seem to appriciate my caring nature and just use the extra visit as more chances to shoot filthy looks a me.

Would like to think they will thank me when skinny, but methinks the restircted diet & less weight is just making them sneakier....... think I need to sleep with one eye open, they are definately ploting some sort of revenge....... :D
