Pony missing from Tean in Staffordshire

Skip has been missing from his field in Tean since Sunday 18th January 2009

He is a much loved pony & we are desperate for his safe return

He is chestnut in colour with a white, irregular blaze on his face, he has 4 white socks & small white speckles on his under belly and is 13 years old.

not good news though.

Heard from the owner

We found Skip yesterday, not good news though, unfortunately he was dead. He was a couple of fields away (thats all !!) there is a very overgrown area with brambles etc and even though we and the owners of the land had been through it several times, we had not been able to see him It looks as though he jumped the fence and died instantly as there are no marks on the ground where he has moved/struggled, he landed in a ditch and the brambles and a holly bush closed in over him.
