Strange one I know, but there's a new lil pony at the yard and they want a name to do with birds, as we already have Sparrow and Puffin (would like to point out that I named Sparrow, starting the whole trend off!

)! It can't be Robin as we used to have one of those. All I know so far is it's little (as in REALLY little...11hh ish) and a gelding. Any ideas?

Kestrel! There was one at mine and we all loved him!

Jay is lovely too. And Laughing Kookaburra's an unusual name. Kooka sounds better, though!

LMAO @ THrush!

When we did our PCers birdwatching badge, we had such a funny convo when we were basically insulting each other with birds' names:

Friend 1: you're a CONDOR! (as in Condom, I think!

Friend 2 to friend 1: you're a TIT

Friend 3 to friend 2: well YOU'RE a THRUSH!

My horse is called Llinos which is Welsh for Linnet. Apparently it is quite apt, as Linnet's are small, fat, brown birds - my Linnet is also small, fat, and brown.
