Pony not happy after doing a poo

Its hard to explain but just after Howie does a poo he swishes his tail a lot. Swish, swish for a good minute or so- like a horse does when uncomfortable. He passes the poo without straining and the poo is soft but not sloppy.

He was wormed on Sat (lots of Bot Worm Larvae came out-dead) he has hay adlib at night and decent grass in the day. He doesnt really eat hard feed yet although will pick at Simple Systems Blue bag grass pellets (soaked to slop)

Any ideas whats making him do this?

Regular physio? Does he carry his tail straight or bent to one side when he's moving?

Is there any poo juice running down his bum after he poos? That seems to make them sting - my youngster gets it too.

his tail seems straight- he hasnt had physio as hes only a baby and ive only had him 10 days!

How old is pone?

Might be worth a visit from a back bod or a vet (or at least a phone call

).
