pony PTS after brain damage...

Just read in the latest news about a little dartmoor pony that was found in a road after apparently running into a lampost causing brain damage...no owner come forward as yet but they are suspecting it was caused by fireworks seeing as it was last night it went mad galloping about...

Now this I find truely heart wrenching for the poor little pony that lost its life after such a horrific accident..

Why dont they make it illegal to use them unless its a big official display?? (and limit them) Animals wouldnt be stressed and getting hurt/killed for 3 months of the yr, stupid kids wudnt do unthinkable things to innocent animals with them etc etc. My dog has to be vertually knocked out the whole of fireworks night (and two weeks after) and again around xmas and new years, she terrified of the noise. Poor animals x
