Pony racing??

Well, I really do think its time that my old pony did more than just sit around looking pretty and being mean... lol

She's a complete speed bomb, we've advertised her for loan before, but she bombs off with pretty much everyone except for myself, and my friend who had her sister, but obviously, at 12.3hh, she's rather too small for me! Therefore, I feel that some one who actually wants speed might actually benefit from it, because she's like a miracle pony, 5 hard days at camp didn't bother her at all when I could ride her, seems like she could go on forever

How popular is pony racing? Because I'm not sure how big it is, and does anyone know how likely I am to possibly get a rider in the South West/Gloucestershire area?

Pony racing is run by the Pony Club (ithink you have to qualify with them/or the hunt), so enquiring at your local branch should be your first port of call.

Last year there was a lot of pony racing at the point to point meetings in Wessex, I think there is a list in the point to poiont entries book but I cant find it at the mo.

Hi r u looking 4 a little jockey 4 her? my friend has a 10yr old daugther who is starting pony racing with her 12.2hh pony next year, her pony is like a little TB, he's sooooo fast, she cope with him no probs, your pony sounds like the type of pony she loves 2 ride, where do u live? we r in hertfordshire, would u consider loaning her out? she would stay at there house with there other ponies.
