Just been looking at rugs for the little one online, and can't seem to find much so wondering if anyone got any ideas.

I'd need 5"3 turnouts, LW-MW, and I have a tight budget for them, no more than £30 each.

I've had a look around on the usuals, ECW, Rideaway etc, and found a couple but I find it a little annoying paying the same for a 5"3 as I do for my mares 6"3s!
I know there are some ranges of specially made pony rugs that tend to be cheaper, and I'm not particularly fussy about how they look, I was just wondering if there are any around that aren't aimed at kids that want a pink pony!

Any advice would be great, this little b*gger rips his way through them so I'm going to be needing a stash ready for winter!

Thanks for reading

Just had a quick look at Dinky Rugs and they only seem to go upto 5", I don't think I'd squeeze him into that!

Have seen the Cuddly Ponies ones, they're the ones I meant about being a little bit pink lol, however I'm sure they wouldn't stay that colour for long...
Any ideas where it's best to get Aerborns from? I've just looked on their website and you don't seem to be able to buy online?

Thanks

I always got mine from the Aerborn factory sale, in Nottingham, but thats stopped now....maybe some local tack shops will have the catalouges - I need some new ones as my filly has grown!!!

try the cottage craft pony rugs on equestrian clearance. I use them on my daughter's vertically challenged shetland. He takes a 4'6... and they are good rugs. The amigo rugs fit well too, or if you can get hold of a 2nd hand Rhino, they're worth their weight in gold.
