Pony scared of wind.

my 12 hander is scared of wind, is there anything i can do to try and sort it out?

My sister’s old Warmblood use to spook at his own farts, but I don’t think you mean that do you???

My 16.2 is scared of the wind too he's completely different with the slightest breeze. Don't think there's much you can do i just don't ride in the wind

I'm not sure, most horses go a bit funny when it's windy because I read somewhere that it distorts their sound, maybe you should just walk and pat him when the wind blows

My dog is scared of the wind AND of her own farts. If she was a horse she'd never stop spooking.

I think a lot of horses are unsettled in the wind - I've always hated riding in the wind because my first ever fall was caused by a scary windy day!

Lots of horses get a bit funny in the wind - hence the expression got the wind up their tails if they're careering round the field!

I'm not sure what you could do though - maybe if it is to do with it distorting their sound maybe some kind of thick fly mask that goes over his ears to block the worst of it?
