I will try and make this post make some sense but can't promise!!!
Is there a website that might offer a different type of loan? I don't want full loan as I have just started college and work placement. What I am looking for is someone who has a small pony and or a small child who would be happy for bubs to share.
She lost confidence and was just getting it back with Ted when we sadly lost him 3 weeks ago. I like the idea of another child being involved as on our first yard it was 99% adults and then where we had Ted there were more children and she seemed braver.
She would only want to ride maybe twice a week and bimble about on the odd hack or go to a show and do a class.
She enjoys the whole looking after aspect.
I don't want to buy her someone as I'm pretty sure she is not up to it at the moment and it would break her heart to lose another.
(We had to get rid of her pony when he proved too much for her and then Ted....another loss and she might just give up)
Any ideas welcome!!!

I would try a local tack shop for a share - detail what you are looking for and I'm sure there will be someone with a small pony looking to share costs. Or perhaps look into classes at a local RS for a while to regain confidence across a range of ponies while you look for a share. She may find this just the thing for confidence on ponies generally as my daughter has probably ridden about 40 or 50 different ponies in all of all levels and capabilities (and behaviour!).There are 3 girls her age and 2 or 3 a bit older she's ridden with mostly in the same groups up through the levels for the past 2 years so is really good friends with them and loves the social side of the lessons as much as the lessons themselves. Some RS will offer 'pony days' so you get the stable duties too for half term (fast approaching), some RS are PC centres so again she can do a range of badges and other things too on the RS ponies.

I would have thought that someone would like a little jockey. We have one for LL (okay, so he's eleven so not so little lol). Is of benefit to us as LL gets a bit more exercise and attention, and the lad gets to have fun without the full responsibility

.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

around here, cheshire, there always seems to be lots of part shares, i only know because i ve advertised my sons best friend. also be nice for her if its on livery were there are other small people, great for re building confidence when she sees others her age doing.
good luck.
