Pony Stolen from field in St Albans

Ware Riding Club has been asked to circulate the following message

Scooby - 25yo 14.2hh Bay Connemara-X Gelding - Freezemark 352U – missing from his field in St Albans. Police believe he was stolen.

i think this is one of the horses that has said to of gone missing after sightings of 2 men taking pictures in there fields.

this is whats been going around by text, myspace, facebook and other forums.

THERE HAVE BEEN 3 SIGHTINGS OF 2 SUSPICIOUS MEN WITHY EASTERN EUROPEAN ACCENTS PHOTOGRAPHING LOCAL HORSES.





THIS COULD BE A STEAL TO ORDER GANG. THE MEN HAVE BEEN SEEN AT SHOWS: EVENTS AND EVEN IN A HORSE OWNERS FIELD TAKING PICTURES.





THEY HAVE BEEN SEEN IN A WHITE VAN REG NUMBER .... N253 XAJ.... AND A RED LAND CRUISER.

(NB: these are believed to be false plates - these plates belong to a cream ford minibus, which is not involved in stealing horses - read more about this number plate)



POLICE ARE TREATING THIS AS SUSPICIOUS SO PLEASE CONTACT THEM URGENTLY IF YOU SEE ANYTHING.

Just to let you know that the Stables it has said to of been taken from is Sandringham yard,

and my friend has a yard extreamly near here,
and she has had the men in her fields taking pictures too.

i guess its not a hoax after all!

but this horse wasnt stolen from Sandringham, it was stolen from a field in Chiswell Green, the owner had been in a local tack shop telling the shop owner about it

A coloured pony was left in the field.

Also l have today spoken to the police and asked about the 2 horses from St Albans, they had had nothing reported. rumours are going round about 2 horses stolen from Bricket wood. l keep horses there and nothing has been reported stolen, we surely would have had police to the yard if they had and they yard managers in the area would have been informed
