hi all,
have finally decided to try and loan my 14.2 pony out.
he's easy in all ways and fantastic hacking and schooling. im in sarratt and posting notes in tackshops never seems to work. does anyone know the bast place to advertise........on know anyone!

Try Pre-loved, local Pony Club and Riding Club newsletters, tell your farrier, stick notices on Livery Yard boards, tell local Riding Instructers.

Where is Sarratt? Permanent or Temp loan?
 
Ditto pony Club and riding club. You can also advertise on line with Pony Club at a reasonable price. One of the horse magazines (Horse I think - but do check) you can advertise on line for free with a chance that they'll select your advert to fill in some space if the paid for bit is empty.

If you can - get him out locally competeing. Then put your loan advert in the secretary's tent. You can also usually get ring announcers to say that a pony is for loan as you enter the ring. But - a word of caution. Get them to announce when you go in for your rosette. It doesn't help to have the loan announcement made and then for ned to have the mad horrors in the ring!

It's not a big pc area so may try a magazine. It's a shame in such a nice area and great hacking I can't find anyone!

Are you at Rosehall farm by any chance?

Their website has a horses for sale section, you could ask if he can be put on that?

What's s/he like? I might know someone if s/he is a chunky 14.2...
 
just next door to rosehall.
he's not that chunky but can take a fair weight.
he's not a small 14.2 either. if you do know anyone please pass on the info :)
