My 4 yr old welsh D trips now and again while out hacking..the ground isn't the best on the bridle tracks and he's only fairly newly backed so its to be expected but I took a tumble this evening as he tripped on a curb on the main road!! and within a split second, I was on the deck
not hurt but could have been a lot worse. It was at the end of the hack and when he gets tired he stretches downwards, I'm careful with his mouth and can get him back up straight away with my legs. This also can cause a trip. I do use a neck strap but wasn't quick enough to hold it. What a tit I am
