Hi, I'm going to try and keep this short and sweet, was wanting a bit of advice from anyone who has a pony with hay fever/dust allergy.

I have had my pony 13 years now and have always managed it very well, he had eye drops a few summers ago as got very swollen eyes. He lives out and has a fly mask that covers his eyes and nose and a nose net when ridden (which also stops him head shaking) These both catch all the pollen, dust and general dirt going up his nose (you can see it on the netting and I have to clean them regularly). And this works amazingly well, I didn't realise how well intill today when I found he had pulled the mask off over night and he would not let me catch him to have it put back on till this evening. By which time he eyes were massivly swollen and watery, he had been rubbing them as well which mostly did not help at all! The mask is now on and I am going to be calling the vets to see if they recommend anything or to come see him if they don't go down in next few days.

So what I want to know is what do other people do for there ponies/horses with hay fever and dust allergy's, feed supplements? eye drops?..... or anything else????

Thank you!
