My filly wouldn't eat her dinner last night.

She just has happy hoof and a carrot as she is of a good weight and in very good condition, lovely shiny coat. She normally scoffs it down, however last night she took a mouthful and walked off. She then walked over to my geldings dinner, tried to get a look in at that and then walked off again.
I found this really odd because she normally loves her dinner and doesn't leave a spec in her bowl. She seemed fine in herself though. Cantered down to the field shelter where we put the hay out, but didnt actually eat this either.

Will have to see what she's like this evening. Why could this be?

It could be something about the carrot. Some days Beau will flat out refuse to eat his carrots when every other horse on the place (including a very fussy eater) will scoff them!

Maybe try a carrot from a different bag or an apple tonight? Does she have any hay? Did she eat that? Its quite possible she just didn't feel hungry.
Horses, always causing us extra stress!

Had a mass panic yesterday, got down in the morning to find my boy hadn't touched much of his hay and had only pooed once overnight.

During the day he still didn't touch his hay but had more than made up for the one poo!

That night he still wasn't touching his haynet and I was really beginning to worry .... until I hear my friend shouting to me in the tack room ... he'd casually walked out of his stable over to the hay barn and tucked in - panic over!

Could it be her teeth? The only time my chap has ever not eaten I got the dentist out and he had a broken molar
