poo picking at 6.48 tonight - who else was?

I was poo picking in the dark tonight, just me and my head torch when I wondered how many other HHOers were doing just the same thing.................

Us too. Was chilly, but we are already battling the mud, so pushing barrow is a hard task!

Bright moon and clear sky helped see them tonight when I got them in. I can't seem to spot poos in the dark!

I did have owls and bunnies for company. Not seen a hedgehog yet. Love the green eyes of the rabbits in the torch light. Shame they eat the grass, but on the up side they also eat the hay the horses leave so are tidying up for me a bit.I do a lot of good thinking while I work - quite therapeutic.

nope, finished at 6.15 using both a head torch and normal torch. I had deer and rabbits for company. And a nutty stallion showing off his welsh fire. Slightly hair raising in the dark.

You could kick off a whole new past time here If I was braver I'd do it after dark as I crave quiet when I first get to the yard sometimes if had a very stressful day Especially when the tawny's are calling.

Weirdly, it only really hurts when I twist my hand, so very careful use of the pooper scoop is just about ok. But that's why it took me all afternoon. And there was quite a bit of swearing!

Nope, home by then, but I did lunge in the dark! Hardcore, I went very dizzy and had to stop, praying loony pony wouldn't come at me or fall over in the puddles!
