was thinking more of the holes in the bucket bit but yes the fork bit looks more robust than most
Saying that though, my Shetland often does calf pat poo and I use the scraper side of my regular poo picker which successfully cleans it up out of the field, so this might actually be quite good for that?

I like the handle on the actual scooper, but can't see the scraper being much help in long grass. One of the poo pickers uses a shovel and smears poo into the grass, it drives me crazy. I like my hand rake and poop scoop for poo picking.

They are so expensive
I can't be the only one who thinks that?

I thought they looked quite good, but not really that different from the ones I currently have... I will usually try anything I think will save me time and effort and at a lower price I'd take a punt, but I can't see enough of a benefit over and above what I've got that's worth £55. I have seven or eight muck scoops & forks, so there's always one nearby whichever paddock I'm in, and I'm pretty sure the total cost for all of those was under £100.

It looks like more plastic rubbish to me :).

Why not just use one of those slightly curved metal-pronged rakes with a long wooden handle? I bought one at my feed merchant. They are light-weight, have a nice balance, leave behind the stuff you don't want to pick up, and make poo picking a joy. Well, maybe not a joy, but more...

I can't find a picture of one. I clicked on a so-called ergonomic one which didn't look comfortable to use at all.

I regularly mused about the lack of a poop scoop with a slotted base for scooping poops out of pellet beds. Guess I should have hopped on that idea sooner hah!

I've veered away from special poop scoops now though, after dropping £50-odd on a Quick Pick and recommended Fynalite fork and finding that I hated the damn thing. I stick to a SpeedSkip or BigTidee (for the capacity) and a small handled hand rake now. No fills, just a nice big scoop, handle I can lean on and a rake to flick the poo in. Can't imagine trying to scrape poo out of long grass or across uneven ground with the blade of a shovel, sounds like torture to me.
