How do you get rid of your dung heap? We have two massive ones. Anyone know someone in the fife area who would remove them?

Sorry am not in your area, but I get mine collected by local dairy farmer 2 or 3 times a year & he ends up muck spreading it on the fields he's resting.

I do keep it very tidy, tamped down & square

Costs me £40 - £50 a time (depending on heap size) so I budget around £100 per yr for it to go. H'es really good & comes within a few days to get rid, but he's happy to do it as the heap is in easy reach of the main gate and its hard standing all the way.

I also get my hay from him too (good price off the field)
