Poor Bambina

When I came back from Australia I rode a mare called Bambina - I looked at her initially for polo, but her legs were not strong enough. Not having anything to ride, I took her in anyways, and just played around on her until I gave her away to a lovely lady.

Well I just got an email Bambina passed away after being attacked by bees - she died befoe the vet even got to her. Quite sad as Bambina was LOVELY - it is always the good ones.

I agree its always the good ones, cause god wants them for an angel I always think.

. Were they your normal run of the mill bees or were they killer bees? Poor Bambina. Mairi.

Not sure what they were - she could have had an allergy, or we have Africanised killer bees.
