Poor Caffrey!! + a winge

Went to ride Badger today, when I arrived at mum's she was really upset - her horse Caffrey has somehow managed to get a massive gash on the corner of his mouth - it's about 2 fingers deep!! Poor boy, he's off to the vets in the morning. Don't think he'll be able to have a bit in hos mouth for a good while.

Considering how painful it looked he didn't seem too concerned, it wasn't putting him off his food anyway!

Everything is going wrong at the moment, Buffy dog had a cancerous tumor removed, Badger has been lame, mum and I have bot had nasty falls and now this with Caf - all on a couple of weeks!

Hopefully our bad luck run will end soon!

He's going up to church fields, so just what ever vet is on I guess.

Don't think he will need a great horse vet as such, just someone good at stitches.

These things happen in clumps, everything went tits up for me the last two weeks so you're not alone! Least he isnt in pain though. What was wrong with your dog?

She had/has doggy version of breast cancer.

Vet was confident he removed the tumor successfully so hopefully she will be ok.
